How to delete your account

Depending on the account type:

1. Vehicle owners: in the EnginesCare Propietario app go to Profile → Delete account, or sign in to the web portal and open Profile → Delete account.
2. Workshop staff: the workshop administrator can deactivate your user from the dashboard. If you own the workshop or have no access, email [email protected] from your registered address with the subject “Eliminar cuenta EnginesCare”.

What is deleted or hidden

• Your access: you can no longer sign in and your open sessions are closed.
• Your personal data (name, email, phone, ID document and address) is replaced with anonymous data in your account and in the orders, appointments and vehicles where it appeared.
• Your in-app notifications and devices registered for notifications; you stop receiving emails and messages.
• Workshop staff: sign-in access, without deleting the workshop's service records that must be kept for legal or operational reasons.

Data that is kept and why

Orders, invoices, photos and vehicle maintenance histories are kept without data that identifies you, because the workshop and the vehicle's next owners need them. That information is kept for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. For more details, see the privacy policy.
